Week 1: Scope Like a VC Would Evaluate

The biggest mistake founders make is building too much. An MVP should prove exactly one thing: that users will pay for your core value proposition. Nothing else.

We start every project with a 2-hour scoping call focused on: (1) What is the one workflow that proves your hypothesis? (2) Who are the 3 users you'll demo to investors? (3) What does "working" look like for this demo?

The output is a 5-page feature spec β€” not a full PRD. We ruthlessly cut anything that doesn't directly support the demo story.

Week 2: Build the Core Flow End-to-End

We use WeWeb for web apps and FlutterFlow for mobile. Both let us build production-quality UIs in days, not weeks. The backend is always Supabase β€” free tier handles all MVP data needs.

Day 1–3: Auth + data model + core screens. Day 4–5: The "money workflow" β€” the single sequence an investor needs to see working. Day 6–7: Real data, real edge cases, a real user testing it.

We don't build admin panels, onboarding flows, or settings screens in week 2. Those come after funding.

Week 3: Polish for the Pitch

The last week is about making the demo feel inevitable. Loading states, error handling for the demo path, mobile responsiveness, a custom domain, and 3–5 real users with real accounts.

Investors evaluate: Does this work? Is it fast? Does it look like something people would actually use? WeWeb and FlutterFlow let us answer yes to all three β€” without a full engineering team.

What Makes an MVP Fundable

The no-code stack doesn't hurt you with investors β€” in fact, it helps. A working product in 3 weeks demonstrates founder execution speed, which is exactly what seed investors want to see.

What kills funding: a Figma prototype presented as a "working product," an over-engineered backend with no frontend, or a product that takes 10 minutes to explain. Keep it simple, make it real, and show it working with real data.

The Stack We Use for Every MVP

Web MVP: WeWeb (frontend) + Supabase (database + auth) + Xano (business logic if needed). Mobile MVP: FlutterFlow (iOS + Android) + Supabase. Both can be live on a custom domain in 21 days. Both can scale to 10K users without a rebuild.

We've shipped MVPs for founders in fintech, healthtech, HR, logistics, legal, and e-commerce. The stack works across every vertical.
